About This Committee
The Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes committee allows delegates to explore the moral foundations and political objectives of the Hunger Games during its first iterations. In committee delegates are going to debate the ethical implications and effectiveness of the Games as a tool for punishment, control, and entertainment. This will question whether fear and the games truly allow for long term stability. The committee will also look through and explore strategies for expanding national participation and visibility. The committee will address how increasing engagement from the districts can help the Games while also changing Capitol propaganda and public views of the Capitol.
