The Global Refugee and Emergency Council addresses urgent challenges faced by refugees in times of crisis. Delegates will examine the impact of sudden refugee influxes caused by war on host nations and global stability. They will also focus on strategies to support refugees displaced by massive natural disasters.

I’m Prajna and I’m a ninth-grade student in the IB program. I have done MUN for one year at Short Pump Middle School and have attended four conferences. I also like to do other hobbies like playing soccer and tennis. I love to hang out with my friends and spend time with my family.

Hi, I’m Srinika. I’m in 9th grade and I’ve been doing mun for 2 years now. Aside from mun I also do classical Indian dance called Kuchipudi. This year I'm also participating in other clubs at Tucker. In my free time, I love hanging out with my friends and family. I’m really excited and I’m looking forward to meeting all of you!

My name is Afrah Hossain, I’m in 9th grade, and I consider myself a very outgoing and observant person. I love hanging out with my friends and going on walks. I work in a hospital where I train people and help veterans get escorted to their rooms. It gives me so much joy to be part of MUN to look at interesting topics and issues.
